BC Lieutenant Governor Visits Fairmont Hot Springs

As the Lieutenant Governor of BC toured the East Kootenay this week, one
of her stops was in Fairmont to view the new Lions Community Den and
take part in a Meet and Greet with the community.

During her visit, she was given a keepsake ornament by Area F Director
Wendy Booth and a bouquet of flowers by the Fairmont Lions. The bouquet
was presented by Ashley McDiarmid who is the great, great, great, great
niece of The Honourable Edgar Dewdney, who was the 5th Lieutenant
Governor of BC.

A special thanks to the Fairmont Lions Club for hosting the event!
