PUBLIC HEARING – BYLAW 2376

Bylaw 2376 – Columbia Lake
The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors is considering an application by Columere Park Developments Ltd to amend the Upper Columbia Valley Zoning Bylaw.  the amendment will change the zoning designation of the subject property to facilitate a proposed swimming area and day-use dock. The subject property is located at Columbia Lake and the zoning designation of 0.38 ha of lake surface will be changed from WR-1 Water Resource Zone to WR-2 Water Resource Community Zone.

A public hearing will be held at:

Fairmont BC

Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 4:00 pm

The Board has delegated the holding of this hearing to the Directors for Electoral Area F, Electoral Area G, and the Village of Canal Flats.

If you believe that your interest in property is affected by the proposed Bylaw, you may prior to the hearing:
•     inspect the Bylaw and supporting information at the RDEK office in Cranbrook from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, excluding
statutory holidays;
•     mail, fax or email written submissions to the addresses/numbers shown below; or
•     present written and/or verbal submissions at the hearing.
Submissions cannot be accepted after the public hearing.

All written submissions are public information pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
