Hazard Assessment Report for Fairmont Hot Springs Creeks

The RDEK received funding from Emergency Management (EMBC) to do an aerial inspection of Fairmont Creek and Cold Spring Creek watersheds following the June 2013 debris flows. Clarke Geoscience also completed the 2012 Hazard and Risk Assessments.

These assessments determined that Cold Spring Creek experienced a deterioration of stable material since the October 2012 inspection and Fairmont Creek watershed has unlimited material that has the potential of mobilization and has the potential for debris flow events should the right climatic conditions occur.
